This one happened on tar paper on the kitchen floor. It’s 3ft x 4ft, chalk pastel. The original photo reference is by Bart Nino.
I did this June 25 and 26 in San Rafael, Ca. I recently had a cat adopt me and decided to run with that theme. This was 10 feet by 10 feet.
Hi All, This was done June 11 at the North Beach festival in San Francisco…in 4 hours flat! I must have been in the zone or something. That’s ridiculously fast. 😉   It is a boy with his face painted in Italian flag colors. It was 7ft x 10ft.
Shown here is a street painting I did Memorial Day weekend of last month in Santa Barbara, CA at the Mission. This is “The Healing of the Blind Man” as requested by the sponsor of my 8′ x 8′ square, Christ the King Episcopal Church Healing Prayer Ministry.  They seemed to like it, which is always the goal! 🙂
Well, over the last year, I’ve spent a lot of time developing other aspects of my interests which, as you see below, includes figure drawing. Sorry I’ve been away so long! I selected my 3 favorites for your viewing pleasure. The far left was done from a cast and the other two were done at multiple long-pose nude model drawing sessions.
I haven’t abandoned street painting! Just slowed it down a bit…
Sorry I’ve been away so long!
There has been more that I’ve done, but here’s a sampling…
Chalk Pastel Demo on pavement
Chalk test exercise on wood board primed with tempera paint
Pastel chalk on Chalk board wall…clearly this one is not finished. I don’t know if I will actually finish it…it’s on the wall in my studio that I painted with chalkboard paint
